SLx Digital Signal Finder
A good ornament
I bought this item having read all of the reviews. I ignored the people who said it was rubbish, you know the ones who tried to test satellite signal with it when it's clearly for Tv aerials. Anyway having bought it all I got was the signal red light and some times just one green light.
We live in a good signal area with the option of a couple of masts to use for signal. Despite this I never got more than one green light. I tried it connected just to an aerial on its own and also inline with a tv connected at the other end. Still it was useless.
I tried it on a neighbours aerial and got no better results and their aerial is set up perfectly.
I gave up at this point and took it back for a refund as I could do a better job with my eyes closed than using this. Maybe I got a faulty one, maybe I didn't but I will be looking for a different brand now and one hopefully with a proper gauges not silly LEDS that could be broken and you would never know.

Did exactly what it is supposed to do. Grate for simple diagnosis as well.

Easy to use
Small and portable. You can put a 9V PP3 battery inside. There is a (cheap) on/off switch on the side. There are 4 LEDs, one red, and 3 green. Connect to your antenna and move it around until you get as many green LEDs to light as possible. It easily allowed me to determine the correct direction to point the antenna. Bottom line - cheap and easy to use, but the supplied F- connector cable was misery short and it would have been nice if it were at least double the length. Note: the connections are F-type just like used on Sky/satellite set top boxes - this is no big deal as adapters are provided.

Easy to use signal finder
Found out the aerial was pointing in the right direction. The problem was in the cabling which this gadget picked up. very happy.
