Rated 5 out of 5 by from Practical and effective Great solution to leaky joints in bricks and mortar. Goes on well, works well externally and internally. Worth taking the time to do the job properly for best results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Out of date This coating deteriorates with age before it is applied. It needs to be used within six months of manufacture. When I got home and took the tub out of its outer cardboard box I found that it was well past the six months. So I had to drive back and return it. And all the other tubs in stock at my local Screwfix were also out of date. It looks as if Screwfix does not have a good stock control system for handling perishable products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from CHECK THE DATE!!! Had to return product immediately after buying, this product MUST be used within 6 months of date of manufacture (written big on front of container) but only stock available was more than 12 months old. Screwfix are great but really should check stock dates............

Answer:
This is a durable cement coating applied by brush but is not really a paint as such. Its is however probably best to source one locally as it will be formulated to suit local application conditions.

It can be plastered over but a special ventilating plaster may be required or alternatively dryline bonding the plasterboard but gypsum plaster is not recommended. A good surface can however be achieved using this product finished with a wooden float and sponge.

Answer:
We would recommend that you remove the existing floor coverings and apply the coating to a prepared concrete surface removing first all loose material, dust and any previous coatings (plaster, paint, bitumen, oils etc. There are available some tile adhesive systems which may do what you are interested in, so you could look into that as it would save some time if they are suitable.

It can be used for prevention against damp and minor water infiltration on concrete floors with the correct preparation. Its not unfortunately suitable as a wearing layer some form of floor covering will be required.
