Rated 5 out of 5 by from Silkaflex EBT+ Great product, seals within minutes. I used this to seal the bottom of a summerhouse wood to concrete base. Goes on so smoothly and is dry so quickly. Quality product.

Answer:
It depends largely on what you are sealing. It is best applied to the substrate and not over paint but its also best not to over paint it afterward. It is however available in a range of colours or clear.

Answer:
Yes, but some paints (solvent based) will soften it - the longer the wet contact, the more it will soften.
Unlike silicones which won't take any sort of paint, these sealants cure to a surface that will take a water based paint.
A small filling bead should be fine, but it's basically elastic and the paint will move

Answer:
Generally we do not recommend overpainting particularly over large areas. Potentially though if it is over very small areas it may be OK but its always best to test compatibility with your paint in a small inconspicuous area first. The product is elastic even when cured which allows it to absorb movement but any movement will cause the paint to crack.

It's a very good adhesive for most materials.
As with any plaster surface, it's a good idea to prime first to seal the surface (dilute PVA works). It will probably work without, but not worth chancing - beware, very messy, difficult to remove from clothes.

Like any other small cracks, it might be worth opening it up a bit.
If there is any doubt about the bonding of the render, you might need to cut further back, but small cracks can be fixed using a good rubbing in of external grade PVA.
Another solution, possibly better, would be to use an epoxy resin based crack "stitching" system - I think Screwfix does a kit.

Answer:
Yes it will fill small cracks and is over paintable if required. It is permanently elastic so will accommodate any further movement. Do check compatibility with specific paint first before over painting large areas however.
Also if the render sounds 'hollow' when tapped with a screwdriver of similar, it may indicate that its 'de bonded' from the wall and a more specific repair or re rendering may be required.
