Why can't this be used in a tumble type cement mixer? Can it be mixed by hand instead?
We recommend that its only mixed mechanically using a forced action mixer or drill and paddle mixer to limit the amount of air entrapment and to ensure thorough dispersion of the Sika 1 admixture through the mix. A tumble mixer is not suitable for mixing because they tend to introduce to much air and sometimes are not thorough enough at dispersing the gauging solution equally throughout the mix.

Suitable for submerged conditions?
Can I use this to improve a below ground swimming pool render, which will subsequently be epoxy painted? Is there any advice you can offer for the render mix that will improve it? The render will be applied to the block walls to a thickness of 1/2" or so.
This is a specialist application and the Sika1 render system will work better but please check all the published technical data to ensure suitability and application recommendations.

Porch concrete floor before new tiles?
Can i use that in porch floor before i put new tiles( if this is important porch is heated and insluated walls and roof) ? As im about the remove old tiles and put some PVA and i was thinking to use that Sika waterproofer on PVA before putting new tiles.
Is probably best to use one of the specific 'damp proof membranes' for floors and also unfortunately PVA is not generally recommended areas which may be exposed to damp.
