Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sika Multiseal butyl Flashing Just bought some Sika flashing ordered on line picked it up within the hour it was ready great service thanks Screwfix. Product was used to seal a leak on a car port which was between polyurethane sheet and wall.Very easy to stick on even though it was only 10 degrees even shaped to the corrugated sheet without to much trouble. Great product would buy again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is GREEN!! In colour. It is green, a dark green but green none the less, it is not grey. Okay now that I have that out of the way I can say that it does seem to do the job. Sticks well on smooth are rough surfaces.

Hi

Will this tape work to seal some gaps between existing lead flashing and a plastic conservatory roof (where a bathroom waste pipe goes through the roof)?

I want to seal a gap between the cast iron soilstack and flat roof (extension) surface, which is probably made of roofing felt. Might also need to adhere to brick as the brick wall of the house is very close.

Thank you

Answer:
This flashing tape does adhere very well to most non porous surfaces but highly porous surfaces may require a vitrifying primer. Bitumen primers are unfortunately not recommended for use with these butyl based tapes.

Answer:
No heating is required, its self adhesive flashing tape made of a butyl rubber compound. Just remove the release film on the sticky side and apply.
For best results the substrate and ambient temperatures should be between +5 & rising and +25'C though.
