Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stuff, will buy everytime My central heating was fixed using this stuff, working 100% with it. I was a bit scared of it so only kept it in for 24 hrs. Drained it from the system . replaced it with Sentinal inhibitor and my heating was back to its poor self. Put some more of the cleaner in and it is 100% working again. It has been running for 2 weeks now. I am getting scared again. I am keen to drain it. I am thinking about it, but tthe system is running so well? a delema!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from X800 Central Heating Cleaner Having used this product in the past and needing to unblock a couple of radiators that wasn't working fully I decided to put some of the X800 cleaner into the system to help clear out the blockages. Its only been in a couple of days but the flow thought the radiators is much better and I'll leave it in the system for a bit longer before I flush and refill it back up.

can I put the cleaner in to my combi central heating via a radiator.

Asked by: Ziphonk
Hi there, Sentinel X800 Fast Acting Cleaner can be added to the system in a number of ways. For open vented systems, dose via the expansion tank during the final fill. For empty sealed systems, add to any convenient point before filling. For full sealed systems, use a Sentinel Dosing Vessel to inject via the filling loop or other access point. It can also be dosed through a powerflushing machine. Kind regards Customer Service

Does this work by acidic action taking rust back to bare metal or mobilise fallen deposits. I am considering use on a decreased petrol tank

Degreased!
Asked by: Chissteve
This is NOT what you want for your petrol tank! If it's a bike tank, remove the valves, fill it with old nuts and bolts or stones and shake it like a big maraca (for a loooong time). Clean it out and use Petseal...

How would I use this in a gravity fed system? Pour it in the header tank then where do I drain it from?

Asked by: Jay125
Hi there, Yes pour into the header tank, tie up the make-up ball valve so no fresh water enter the header tank and then drain a volume of water from a ground level drain point until all the contents of the header tank are drawn into the system. Untie make-up valve to allow header tank to fill. The alternative is to use rapid dose format. For further information please visit out website or contact us. Kind regards Customer Service
