Rated 1 out of 5 by Beware Incorrect Assembly Just spent a frustrating 3 hours trying to fit one of these. I thought it was me as I hadn't fitted one for a few years. I couldn't get the water to flow through the valve. Eventually I decide to strip it & found it had been assembled incorrectly. No matter which way you turned the tap handle, the outlet was blocked. I removed the insert with the hole in, re-positioned it so it was opposite the outlet port, re-positioned the lever key slot & bingo, it works. Must have been a Friday assembly. 25 May 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product I used this when fitting a dishwasher and reduced the time for the job considerably. It's compact enough to fit between pipes and hinged so you can fit it between clamped pipes and the wall. If required you can fix it to the wall using the flange. What was really useful was the ability to adjust the angle of the outlet after fixing to the pipe. Only comment I would have is that there are no instructions if you are a novice. 18 May 2016

Answer:
Hello ALancashireLad,

The hole cut will be approximately 6-7mm in diameter and the piece cut out is broken into smaller pieces during cutting and runs away through the pipework.

Thank you for using Q&A.
