Was amazed how badly this catch is made - probably by hand in someone's back yard. I am ashamed at even trying to fit it - it looks so awful.

These catches are ok. They are basic and not of great quality. 2 of these had the spring pop out straight away. Fortunately it's a pack of 10 giving me spares as I don't think they'll stand up to regular use.

Fitting these catches took longer than expected because ALL the screws were poor quality.
The heads stripped within seconds.
That meant I had to hunt around for some spare small screws in the loft.
A minor thing, but one that wasted time and was frustrating.
Also, the metal catch strip (the piece that presses against the rolling balls) was made of very thin metal and bent during the installation.
Yes, these catches are very cheap. But it seems to me that Screwfix could have charged another 50p or a pound and offered a good quality item.
I find this quite often with Screwfix. The prices are amazing, but the quality doesn't always deliver.
