Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply Effective Does the job just as described by other reviewers. Just tighten it up a little if there is a leak. 8 Apr 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great I love these reducers. Instructions are shocking but if you know how to do them you shouldn't need instructions. They are invisible in use and there is no need for Chucky reducers or ugly pipe alterations. Cheaper than mort reducers too :-) 25 Mar 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just the job A great product when a 10mm tap or fitting is not available. I was a bit confused by the packaging as it states fitting an olive but I realised this was just generic packaging for compression fittings. This part is all you need. Just dispense with the normal compression fitting olive and use this instead. You can only fit it one way round so very straight forward. As other reviewers have said; tighten until the reducers snaps and then tighten a little more. When it snaps it break the reducer in two and the two parts squeeze together to produce a leak free connection. 23 Mar 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very useful piece of kit. Top quality item, very easy to fit and no problems at all with sealing, thoroughly recommended. ALSO, once again thanks to the staff at the Workington store for their help, very knowledgeable people and consistently very helpful and pleasant to deal with, THANKYOU ALL! 13 Mar 2016

These are new to me, previously I used the ones with an olive. I can't see any mention of anyone using any compound when using these one pc reducing sets, should I do so or not?

I am hoping to fit these with water in the system, I have done this before, was not a great problem before. (I do have a pipe freezer kit if needed). It's such a short length of pip coming you from a concrete floor I don't think I need bother too much.
Suggestions appreciated.
