Rated 4 out of 5 by no use to me Bought these on reccomendation of other users, had to replace an imp. rad. with a 600 metric one but still they where too short by 2cm overall. Moved the rad. over to one side and use the conventional fitting I had and had to use a bit of 15mm copper on the other end. Make sure they are of use to you before you buy. 15 Dec 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sliding tail Having difficulty getting standard rad tail to seal even with PTFE tape. This has rubber seal on thread which solved the problem. Also tube section of tail slides in/out of rad nut end was unsure if this was going to create a different problem but seals perfectly. Why aren't standard tail ends fitted with rubber seal? 11 Dec 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tail extensions Used these a few times , helpful when changing from imperial to metric radiator sizes 30 Nov 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by life savers! Quite literally life savers if you are going from a very old rad to a new one, especially if you cannot move the pipework without a lot of work! My rads were slightly bigger than the nearest replacement, so these make short work of what could have been a nightmare! they go on easily, no need for PTFE, no need to wring their necks either! Not so pleasing to the eye as perfect fitting rads, but it gets over the problem of going old to new without causing any major headaches. 23 Nov 2015

Water tight

Hi I have not used the flexible radiator tails before and I am just about to fit them to a new radiator
The tube appears to be a slide fit into the securing nut - is this correct.
Seems a little loose to be able to be water tight
Thanks Geoff

Answer:
Hello. The Radiator Compression Valve Tail Allows Increased Installation to Radiator Valves, when fitted to Compression Nut and Olive you need to make sure PTFE Tape or a suitable Joint Paste is used.
