Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceptional radiator tails Why aren't all rad tails like this? Superb! I bought these as they are longer than average meaning I could bridge a gap from changing a english sized rad for a metric one. I also knew they had 'O' ring seals so no need for PTFE tape around the threads. What I didn't know is that they also have 'O' rings seals around the pipes meaning that they can just be slid in or out to accommodate slight differences in length. Easiest fit ever! 7 Jul 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by So much simpler... Having replaced two previous radiators and had trouble eradicating leaks, the third was also slightly narrower (metric) than the one it was to replace (imperial). I found this product at Screwfix and eradicated two problems at the same time. No leaks, and a trouble-free install. I'd thoroughly recommend them! 26 May 2016

Water tight

Hi I have not used the flexible radiator tails before and I am just about to fit them to a new radiator
The tube appears to be a slide fit into the securing nut - is this correct.
Seems a little loose to be able to be water tight
Thanks Geoff

Hello. The Radiator Compression Valve Tail Allows Increased Installation to Radiator Valves, when fitted to Compression Nut and Olive you need to make sure PTFE Tape or a suitable Joint Paste is used.
