Rated 3 out of 5 by from 40mm White push fit pipe. I did have problems with this pipe. While loading the first length into the car I noticed two area's where the pipe had been flattened slightly. Returned into the counter and exchanged OK. On fitting the second and carrying out a test the joints made with the second pipe leaked. (fittings were new from Screwfix at the same time) On examination and measuring the pipe was oval in places by some 1.5mm. The worst places were the ends, which appear to be cropped. Once these problems were found and poor sections avoided, the pipe sealed OK.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect if properly installed This is a good waste system that requires no glue and is secure and looks good when installed. I will only use a push fit waste system that is accessable and not under a floor or in a wall cavity. For this I'll use solvent weld as it doesn't come apart, if say there was a blockage and springs or other drain cleaning equipment were used inside the pipe. Don't forget to chamfer the end of the pipe and lubricate the fiiting socket before inserting it into the fitting or you'll remove the O ring seal. Screwfix sell a red plastic chamfering tool that not only chamfers the end of the pipe, but deburs the end as well.

I presume this pipe is suitable for use with 40mm compression fittings also?

I can only see 2 types of 40mm pipe listed on the site and one says solvent weld and the other push fit!
