Rated 5 out of 5 by Roofing underlay Excellent value for money it is tough and hard to tear, which gives you confidence in the product. Has an overlap mark, which makes it easier to use and comes in two roll lengths as well. 10 Sep 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Moisture Barrier Just fitted on to a 4 way pitch Gazebo prior to Fitting Shingles. A great product that is easy to fit and follows the contours of the roof brilliantly. 10 Sep 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by roof felt bought this to put on the roof of my wood shed before I put a steel sheet over the top to stop any drips of water going on to the wood in the frost. 7 Jul 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by What a great find! Building a workshop with corrugated roof and I wanted to lay a barrier down. I could tell the quality of the A1 Protect. water resistant, strong and easy to lay. Finished laying at 9 pm, ready to do corrugated steel in morning. Heavy rain storms during night and it withstood the test. Definitely buy again. 5 Jul 2016

Should I put this under the batterns? And if so can I fix this directly to the substrate of the existing structure or do I need to leave a gap between?

Hello Dikka,

I have checked with the manufacturer and the writing should be facing outward as the blank side is absorbent to prevent condensation.

Thank you for using Q&A.
