Use with RG6 cable
Hi, I have purchased these F-plugs to use with Labgear RG6 coaxial cable (96763) but they do not thread onto the cable (cable too thin for plugs). Please advise, thanks
Hi the plugs are designed for PF100 cable which is thicker - therefore if you put some tape round the outside of the cable this will ensure a secure fit as you have purchased these F Plugs already. Thanks

M or F?
I have a TV aerial cable, I need to put connectors on both ends. Both ends then need to be male to plug into the TV and TV aerial socket.
I am confused. Is this item what I am looking for please?
The twist on F connectors would connect to the end of your cable and then connect to any device with F type fitting as normally seen on satellite equipment etc. the normal connection found on the RF input on a Freeview TV is female coax which will accept a male coax push in connector http://www.screwfix.com/p/labgear-metal-coax-plugs-pack-of-10/78603

Connecting to coax
Do you need to cut off the metal sheath (underneath the foil) in order for the plastic to screw into the connector as it is too thick with the sheath ?
Hi, thsi should not be necessary as the connectors do fit the cable that we sell, if you are still having problems contact our helpline on 08457 573479. Thanks
