So far so good
I put 3 of these in a rental property 3 and half years ago. Now I am living in that same house and can confirm they are all still working. They turn on fully, they turn off fully, and they appear to respond to changes in temperature.
More generally, I would comment that the indicative temperatures given in the instructions seem to be quite far out consistently across a number of valves, and so I have had radiators coming on at over 10° C when the frost (8°C) setting was selected. In practice my bedrooms have to be set at 'frost and a half' to get the 16°C I want, which is a bit annoying.
Obviously, they have the standard slow response that wax sensor TRVs all have: as the room warms, they tend to reduce the radiator heat output progressively with the result that if the heating is running all day, the room temperature achieved will be higher than if the heating is only running for a short period. But that is not so much a problem if the system is properly sized in the first place.
The other thing I have noticed #in other, sunnier houses# is that the colour band behind the setting number tends to fade easily.
But I can now say they are reliable - for at least 3 and half years.

Selected because of good reviews. Do not want to have to replace!
Working well so far.

Avoid; heads usually snap.
Plastic heads usually drop to bits on these. Drayton seem not to have the same problem.
