Brass, longer lasting and easy to fit. Had to raise ball to to top to achieve same volume flush.

4 stars should be Very Good as per legend??
I always put brass valves in as more reliable than plastic even if costing a bit more. No-one needs a call back.
Part 2 need to be fitted under the water bylaws to stop contamination of drinking water.
A good valve that is fitted easily as it is side entry.

Whilst selling our home I found that the storage tank over flow was dripping. the cause was the old stop cock probably from the 70's needing replacing. Brought this one and fitted a piece of cake.

When I came to drain down the heating system and began the refill the old ballcock valve was blocked up with scale and not working reliably (unless you call two drips a second a refill.)
As a replacement I wanted the Peglar but it was out of stock so opted for this one. It was easy to fit, quieter on the refill with no more drips.
I'll replace the noisy cold water storage tank ballcock when next up in the roof, perhaps with the Peglar variety.
