Rated 5 out of 5 by from BLACK WITH PLENTY OF TACK I loved this product! I needed a small quantity of tar like substance to patch up the roof on my garden shed. I didn't want to purchase a large tin of some other similar product, so this was just what I needed! It squeezed out of the nozzle, bit like toothpaste. I spread it around the edges of the underside of the felt patch, put it into position and applied a bit of pressure on top. Then I finished off by sealing around the edges - job done!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Used to bed felt roofing shingles to a log cabin roof. Went on easy with the gun especially considering the poor temperature ( tip: store in warm before use). No issues at all. Good price and even better when buying 6. Uxbridge staff even found a box to put them in!

I fixed some gutters yesterday and the sealant still hasn't set (ie, touching a finger on it still marks my finger) some 18 hours later despite it being a relatively warm day (13 degrees) and sunny.

Answer:
Hi MikeyDee, According to the Technical Data Sheet from the Supplier the sealant does not skin. The surface of the sealant will appear dry to the touch after several days but will remain pliable beneath the surface.
Full cure normally occurs in 2 to 4 days. Rate of cure will depend on thickness, ambient temperature, joint size and design. Lower temperatures and drier conditions will result in a slower rate of cure.
I hope this information is of help to you.
