Rated 5 out of 5 by Great paint I wanted some undercoat, so decided to buy a tin of it from Screwfix. I found a tin much better than my usual bag for life, as paint always seems to leak through the stitching. Maybe I should get a tin for life? 25 Jun 2016

Hello Mollie777,

Every installation is different due to the varying circumstances of the site and environment.

Therefore we advise that you contact a local tradesperson who will be able to view and assess your particular requirements. They will be able to provide further advice for the installation of the Primer

Hello laminateman,

You should be able to spray this with your Wagner gun. It may require thinning though, spray guns are usually supplied with a viscosity cup for you to check this.

Treated & Non Treated Timber / Studding along with chipboard. I am looking to paint it white but wondering if this is the best primer to use for the job? If not would an Acrylic Primer be better for the job? Thanks.

Answer:
Hello,

This primer is suitable for untreated timber and is also suitable for using on chipboard before painting. When using the primer apply thin with a roller and once it has dried more layers can added.

Thank you for using Q & A.
