Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Used this compound several times to level uneven floors in a 1970's home. Floors are chipboard and this compound does an excellent job. Does not lift or crack once hardened. Easy to level when poured. Would recommend a 5 foot spirit level be used as the levelling tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great alternative product I purchased two tubs of this to finish off a floor, as my local Screwfix had sold out of the Mapei and Bostix deep-fill versions. I was pleasantly surprised just how good this product was and wouldn't hesitate to use it again. Great idea to have the markings already in the tub to save thinking about water quantities. Only one minor downside is the tub is only just big enough for mixing both bags (there are two provided in each tub), so be careful when mixing with a paddle as it's prone to spilling over the sides. Otherwise it's a really great product, which gave a good level finish and although it takes slightly longer than the other brands to dry, it's still walkable on within 4 hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy to use I've never used a levelling compound so checked out YouTube for some tips and there was a guy using No Nonsonce it looked easy to use there was no working out how much water to compound ratios the level is on the side of the container, it worked like a dream just watched the guy on YouTube using it it's that easy .I would use this again and recommend it .

removed tiles from floor, it's a mess!

Would the self levelling compound cover tile adhesive left on plywood?
Asked by: disco58
Hello Disco58. This product would be suitable for use on plywood however we would advise that the surface be prepared and the tile adhesive be sanded off as much as possible before application of the self leveling compound. Thank you for using Q&A.

Acceptable Moisture Content?

Need to lay on a dry chipboard floor to re-level it. Maximum thickness in one corner will be about 15 to 20 mm. How long will it take to dry to an acceptable level to lay engineered wood flooring?
Asked by: mcgreid
Hello mcgreid, We would advise for specific situations and circumstances like this that a local trade person is called who is able to look into and study your particular requirements Thank you for using Q&A

My garage floor is solid but uneven will this product be ok with cars parked on top?

Asked by: Mags67
Hello Mags67, I've just discussed this with our supplier, Norcros Adhesives, they have advised that the No Nonsense Pro 50 Levelling Compound can be used as a garage floor with cars parked on. They recommend that the floor be thoroughly cleaned & degreased and then their Prime-Bond primer be used to prime the floor surface. Thanks for using Q&A, KC.

Can this be directly applied to worn flagstones

I plan to level an uneven (badly worn) flagstone floor in my workshop before covering with a rubber mat finish. Do I need to treat the flagstones before applying the levelling compound?
Asked by: sparkybath1
Hello sparkybath1, We'd have to recommend you consult an experienced tradesperson for further advice on this really. Flagstone floors are often laid on nothing but earth, sand or ash, part of the beauty of these tiles is that any moisture that comes up through them can simply evaporate into the air, but with levelling compound laid over the top this moisture would need to find other ways to escape, which can cause damp issues in walls etc, and trapped moisture would likely affect adhesion of the levelling compound. Thanks for using Q&A
