Rated 5 out of 5 by Well named easy to use Easy to measure out and mix - used to level bathroom floor ready for tiling 5 Jul 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Filling Holes Used it to repair a breaking up workshop floor, remove all the loose parts then PVA the hole, Filled with the levelling compound then painted it a week later to finish the job. Worked a treat 5 Jul 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Useful substitute Already had some leveller but ran out of stock, used this to finish the job. Flowed well with existing leveller but very watery when made up according to instructions making it a bit trickier to work with and spread. 28 Jun 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by No nonsense floor levelling Well named. Easy to use due to measured water in bucket supplied. I found it easier to use a bigger bucket for each mix as the bucket supplied is full to the brim and overflows when mixing if not careful. Invest in a good mixing paddle for your drilll or a mortar mixer. Used a metal leaf rake to spread and a spiked roller gave it a great finish. Make sure you buy enough for your project One bucket covers approx 2 sq metres at a 10mm depth. Buy more than you think you need to be safe and return unused ones to store. Good product easy to use. 2 Jun 2016

I am looking to use this screed to level a garage floor before painting with concrete paint. I am wondering how long you would need to wait before applying the paint?

Hello Sam75,

On the tub it states that the drying time of the product is four hours at 20 degrees centigrade, therefore may take less time to dry at a higher temperature.

Thank you for using Q&A.

Repairing my slab

My concrete slab had a chalky top layer, pressure washed this top 2-3mm dusty layer off, exposing the solid aggregate below.

Can I treat the slab with a concrete hardener prior to bonding and screed?

Or should I just bond and screed?

Thanks
