Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant..!! Very good product, at half the price of its competitors. Was a little apprehensive at first, but was very impressed with how much much this product bought out of my central heating with it..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Must have worked. System is a lot quieter after I added it. Make sure you follow the instruction to drain the cleaner out afterward within a week and add an inhibitor to protect the system. I used no nonsense.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shame about label Used this to clean my 10 year old system before flushing (not rinsing). Appears to have loosened it all up judging by the black muck I got out. Stuck the provided sticky label onto the boiler - which I could not get off the packet in one piece and then could not find a pen that would write on it!

Answer:
Inhibitor should be left in the system indefinitely.

Cleaner should be removed from the system after the cleaning cycle - a minimum one hour (hot) or up to one week under the normal heating cycle.

its important to remove it as it will pump 'soup' around the system rather than fresh water and it won't protect against corrosion.

After use, flush system until water runs clear, then add inhibitor for ongoing protection.

Answer:
Hello kenny66,

Every installation is different due to the varying circumstances of the site and environment.

Therefore we advise that you contact a local tradesperson who will be able to view and assess your particular requirements. They will be able to provide further advice for the installation of the inhibiter.

Thank you for using Q&A.

Just to further clarify the above question. The inhibitor was added a few years ago. Because the central heating is making noise I want to remove sludge etc. from the system by using this cleaner. Is it essential to drain the system until the water runs clean to get rid of the old inhibitor before adding this cleaner or can I add it without draining first? I do understand that the system will have to be drained after a maximum of seven days of adding the cleaner before adding the inhibitor.

Answer:
It's only necessary to drain the system after you have added the cleaner even if inhibitor is present. If you have the time and inclination to drain the system before you add the cleaner it's quite likely that you will get better overall results.

Answer:
Yes it's safe to add on top of inhibitor. No need to drain down first. After cleaning and flushing it will be necessary to add fresh inhibitor.
