Rated 1 out of 5 by Appalingly unintuitive control Probably works fine as a timer, but the programming of the setpoints is just diabolical. This goes back to 10 years ago when you needed a manual to set it up - total rubbish and unnecessarily so, shame as it could have been so much better. Don't buy it. 19 Aug 2016

Rated 1 out of 5 by Not good! Bought one of these from my Folkestone store to run my pond pump/filter. When I got it home realised it had a lot more features than I needed but at the price paid it did not matter. I put it on charge as required thinking that when charged it might be a problem to programme. As it happened, this did not matter - when taken off charge it just did not 'fire' up! Returned to branch which they took back with no problem and bought a cheaper mechanical model which is fine. 12 Jul 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by great timer This is switching on at 8 am and off at 10 pm two 30 watt flourescent lamps and a 60 watt basking reflector spot in a terrapin tanlk. Its been running now every day for 3 weeks and all is good , accurate, silent and doesnt overheat up. Great product 18 Jun 2016

Answer:
Hi, thank you for your product enquiry.
This timer has 10 timer programs which can be set to operate on a single day of the week or a combination of days (such as every weekday, all 7 days of the week, just the weekend etc.) so yes it is capable of switching on and off 6 times in a day for every day of the week, and it will repeat its weekly cycle every subsequent week until it is stopped or unplugged.

Hi, thank you for your product enquiry.
This timer is rated for a maximum switching capacity of 10A (2,400W) resistive or 1A (240W) inductive at 240V, so depending on the type of load your heater is it may just be an overload for the timer.

Hi, thank you for your product enquiry.
If the battery runs down to the point where the screen stops displaying then yes the programmed settings will be forgotten.
The specification states that the battery will last for 100+ hours, but in practical terms an over-night charge every 2 or 3 months should prevent this becoming a problem.
