Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good looking extractor light Used to replace an existing ceiling extractor without light whilst changing the lighting to some chrome down lighters. Nice cost effective way of modernising a bathroom

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb performance I bought this kit as a replacement, I only needed a new fan but I couldn't find one much cheaper on the net and the last one (same kit) which I also bought from screwfix lasted 9+ years . After the last fan finally gave up we started to get mould forming, so performance is better than I first thought, the built in timer is also a bonus Highly recommend, good performance and value for your money. Andy

Can the light in this kit be used with a different fan?

I have this fan fitted in my bathroom however it doesn't clear it quickly enough with the shower running; I'm looking to attach the Manrose MF100 to the circuit in place of the existing fan. I don't see any reason why this wouldn't work.
Asked by: Andrew182
Hello, you can simply swap out your pre-existing fan for an upgraded unit, the MixFlo would be ideal. Please note the MixFlo requires a switched live and neutral connection. Please consult a qualified electrician to see whether you have the available connections to make the appropriate swap.

How do you clean the dust out of this?

Asked by: KarenK
Hello, firstly ensure all power going to the fan is off. Once done, remove any attached ducting etc. which should give you access to the fan blades, use a dry toothbrush to clean the blades and possibly a light vacuuming of the inside to remove dust and particles.

loft or roof space ?

When it says can be fitted into loft or roof space does that mean the vent goes into roof space and doesn't need to go to the outside. Would this not cause damp in loft/roof space? It will be difficult for our vent to get outside so this would be great
Asked by: GDAN
All Indoor Extractor Fans should terminate to Atmosphere (unless it specifically states otherwise), venting into your Loft Area will eventually cause damage. When it states can be fitted into Loft or Roof Space, this is referencing the actual Inline Fan Unit.

Is this adequate to light a small bathroom?

Hi my bathroom is 2m x 2.5m would this be adequate to light the room or can I buy a non ventilated version to match up, giving 2 spotlights? Cheers Lee
Asked by: Leeroy123
Hello, the Showerlite would be suitable for lighting a focused area of the bath/shower. It wouldn't be recommended to use the Showerlite on its own as over time the heat generated from the lamp could cause damage to the holder, by using the fan in conjunction with the Showerlite, this is a preventative measure against deterioration. Hope this helps.
