Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent value for money. I have a noisey on suite ceiling extractor fan which didn't do very much. Tested it with a piece of tissue paper. The on suite with shower hasn't any windows ,so after a shower the mirror mists up and it's difficult to shave. Now no problems ,old fan disconnected and this one fitted in the loft . It has three speeds ,I have set it on the medium . Tissue test ,brilliant. It appears very well made can't see the point in paying double for any other make. 11 Aug 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Robust and effective As soon as you get it out of the box it is clear that this item is a robust, well made bit of kit. Easy to install with its detachable flanges, I opted for the lower of the two settings because it is for a small ensuite. Once fired up, it is immediately obvious that it is doing its job. Perhaps a little noisier than ideal, it is not too obtrusive. It certainly extracts effectively. The detachable flanges should make it easy to service later on. It does lack a run-on timer, but actually it I so effective that it probably doesn't need one. Don't know about reliability yet, but it seems well made. 24 Mar 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality product Bought this fan as a replacement. Very easy to fit. Like the way everything can be slotted into the cradle and locked in by 2 clamps. Makes it very easy to remove for cleaning/maintenance. Good extraction of air, bathroom much drier now. Excellent value Would definitely recommend 9 Feb 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great upgrade Bought this to replace existing Axial flow fan, After changing some ductwork the old fan couldn't handle the 'back pressure' this fan can. Good value for money. 25 Jan 2016

If I get this fan I would need to do a vertical installation vs. the standard horizontal like in the photos.

Answer:
Yes, you would need to isolate live wire at switch side or disconnect it from bathroom light junction box. As no timer you need to connect to switched live. Otherwise it will run non stop. Usual fan switch wiring is done with 3 core+ earth

Answer:
A standard fan only requires a switch live and neutral. Unfortunately due to regulation constraints we are unable to guide you with the wiring.
