Leaking connection

Hi
I've made the joints twice now on 2 of these. On the male end I've used ptfe only then again I used Fernox water hawk only.
The are connected to the hot and cold in to a concealed shower so I have to be 100% they don't leak
Each time they have slowly dripped. The out going from the shower at low pressure is OK
Any ideas what i should use instead?
Thanks
Mike

Hi MWES,

We would recommend that you consult with a plumber as we are unable to see the rest of the system and the connection you are trying to make tight.

Thank you for using Q and A.

My cold and hot water feeds to the kitchen tap end with a standard 'shower hose' size male thread. My new Grohe tap ends with a smaller female 'nut' so requires a 15mm male to screw on to. So to convert this, do I need the "male coupler 15mm x 1/2" or do I need the "female coupler 15mm x 1/2"? There's only one picture for each product and both seem to have two nuts and neither have a picture of both ends. in short I'm fitting a European tap to a UK water system. Grateful for the advice and hoping two people vote the same! Cheers, Rob

Hi Rob,

You will need the Male coupler but you are more than welcome to bring what you can to the trade counter to ensure compatibility.

Thank you for using Q and A.
