Makita BHP453SH 18V 1.3Ah Li-Ion Cordless Combi Drill 4.5 5 47 47
Makita BHP453SH 18V Combi This is an excellent drill. It looks the part and performs brilliantly. As a power screwdriver it is fantastic, one of the better ones. As a drill/hammer drill it isn't too bad. My old corded B&D drill had more actual power for drilling holes in concrete but this one is dead handy and cordless. It is fine for most jobs and does the trick. The charging is fast and I'm overal very pleased with the drill. The functions, the dual speed, the clutch control of the screwdriver, the variable control by depressing the trigger at different strengths. It's a great product and feels great in the hand. If it had more power for drilling into concrete it would be 5 out of 5 in all categories but like I say, it will still drill into stone walls fine so for jobs around the house it is great, There is a higher up model with more power but the price increase is tough to justify. 10 Jan 2015
Makita 453SH I Purchased this drill because my original unit (which I have had for over 2 years), and included two,3AH battery's developed a slight problem with the trigger, regarding speed control only, but is still going strong. I now use this new drill with my original battery's for the everyday use, and my old drill with the 1.3AH battery as a screwdriver/ anything else accessory. Great bit of kit. 21 Nov 2014
Reliable and affordable A good drill that does what you expect with the reliability of makita 9 Oct 2014
Great product Bought to replace an old NiCd powered drill, the Makita showed just how weak the old one had become. Really fast to charge up, great range of speed settings and easy control on the trigger. 28 Jul 2014

Answer:
Makita batteries will only fit Makita products. You can determine this by the products voltage, if the battery is 18V, then the required batteries will need to be 18V. The 'A' rating of the product is its 'battery life', essentially how long the product lasts after being charged; the higher the 'A' the longer it lasts.
