Good product, previously I have used Danish Oil, this is very similar but can only be used for a matt finish unless you wax it. Don't end up with a sticky finish, if you apply with a brush be sure to throughly wipe off ALL the excess oil otherwise you will. It will dry within 4 hours, which is the advantage over Danish Oil, but only if after applying you wipe it all off. I found it best to apply with a lint free cloth with cotton wool inside, like a French Polish rubber.

This is not a true Tong Oil as it has additives & driers in it allowing multiple coats in a matter of hours.
Pure Tong oil has none of the additives and driers and the complete process takes days to do with at least a days drying time between coats.

I mistakenly bought this thinking it was Liberon Pure Tung Oil as i ran out on a project i was working on. I thought i would give it a go as i was only using it for shop furniture. I much prefer the finish the pure tung oil gives, this quick dry tung oil left a bit of a dirty looking surface compared to the more natural colour from the pure tung oil. Pure tung oil was friendlier on my paint brushes also.
Go with Pure tung oil if you can afford the wait time between coats.
