Rated 3 out of 5 by OK Used for doors and skirting boards: pros: 1) easy to use. 2) easy to clean brush and drops. 3) fast drying, can recoat within 1 hour cons: 1) not as shiny as oil based gloss 3) you can still see roller smears 4) not consistent when applying. Not a bad paint. 5 Aug 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great paint I have converted to waterbased gloss as Fed up with the yellowing you get with oil based paint. This is very easy to use can use a roller for large areas and then use a laying out brush. Also dampen the surface slightly. I recommend using the Hamilton waterbased kit also with this. If going or old oil based gloss sand down then one coat primer and two coats of gloss as advised by Leyland customers service. I cant recommend this paint enough. It gives a really good finish and no smell. Yes you do have to work quicker you do get used to it I promise. Such a good price too. Leyland paints are such good value and as a trade paint its better quality 21 Jul 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product I've used Dulux Trade Diamond White for years, but I am now converted. I've applied this Leyland Gloss with brush, roller and a HVLP sprayer (thinned at 10%). Excellent results with each. Great coverage, doesn't dry out too quickly on the brush or roller and dries flat. Surprisingly, in most cases one coat has been sufficient, but I always give two coats just to catch any missed spots. Half the price of Dulux Trade, better coverage and easier to work with. Non yellowing, what more can one ask for. Durability unknown, as I've only recently started using it. I've also switched from Dulux Trade to Leyland on their acrylic, latex and hard wearing emulsions, with excellent results 7 Jul 2016

Hello Kevinbw. Yes this will be fine. however I would advise laying off any areas you roll with a good quality synthetic brush, to remove any 'stippled' effect a roller might leave. Thanks

Does the water based gloss have the same consistently as normal oil based gloss? (Or is it more like emulsion?)

Answer:
Hello Sunin. the viscosity of Leyland Trade Fast Drying Gloss is different to that of an oil based. the appearance of the product is thicker than that of a normal emulsion. However during application the product applies smoothly. Thanks
