Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent product Bought this product to replace an aerial splitter which resulted in poor signal quality with a new TV. The improvement in the number of channels available and overall picture quality is excellent. Only recently installed so not in a position to comment too much about long-term reliability, but so far so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aerial Amp Lda204L quickly replaced my failed aerial amplifier. Easy to install. Adequate gain for my area and aerial. VHF (FM) & UHF (TV) inputs and 4 outputs. Don't forget connector plugs. It has screw fit f-type connectors so you'll need a pack of 75ohm plug to screw connectors if you don't want to permanently swap to f-type satellite type plugs. Neither are included. (I rated reliability 5* but its really to early to say 72 hours in!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Nice and compact, built in power supply saves even more adapters, I like the f connectors you get a much more positive connection, I've ran 3 tvs off this and signal quality is excellent, need to get a dab aerial now so I can hook up my dab sound system to it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Missing information I had to replace a 17 year old unit which was beginning to show its age. Assumed that this would be a simple direct replacement so did not read all the reviews. This was a big mistake as the absence of referring to the aerial connections I had "assumed" that the existing coaxial would just plug in. These units are fitted with F plug screw fittings but there is no mention of this anywhere on the specifications. The solution is quite straightforward using converter sockets 73805, but required me to make another trip out to pick them up. I could have changed the plugs on the existing cabling but at my age don't mess about in the attic any more than I have to (I had soldered the existing coax sockets on the cables when fitted so no problems with the existing connections)

Attempting to split sky feed.

Would this enable me to split the feed from the sky dish to a couple of other TVs using inbuilt Freeview?
Asked by: ChazTV
The LDA 204 can only split passive feeds like a terrestrial Aerial unfortunately it is not possible to split active feeds from the dish. Thanks.
