Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Good Had a standard splitter and picked up 10 channels which were very intermittent, connected this up and received 150+ channels, can't say on reliability but so far a very good product, and no noise. 7 Jun 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works great Signal strength was originally 18% and awful picture quality, installed this and now at 89% with perfect picture quailty, great purchase. 12 Apr 2016

Rated 3 out of 5 by Looked ok but did not use Bought this on Christmas Eve. Did not realise until I got home that all the connectors are screw thread in stead of the usual push-on ones. Could not try it out because of this so will return it & try something else. Build quality etc all looks good but that's as far as I can really go with this comment... 27 Dec 2015

In the box was a "F-Type Plug", i.e. it fitted the F-Type socket but was a sealed unit. What is if for?
I have assumed it is to plug the VHF input that I'm not using to avoid any stray signals but can find no details in the instructions.

Answer:
Hi, It is a 75 Ohm terminator and can be fitted to inputs or outputs to aid signal transmission, however it is usually never used and if it is fitted it is usually on a 6 or 8 way amplifier full output when not used to feed a second amplifier, on smaller output amplifiers it can be used to terminate any unused port if required. Thanks

There are two very similar looking products that appears to do the same and I cant tell what's the difference between the two even with you compare function.

Could you explain why I would choose this vs the slightly cheaper Labgear LDL204 you offer?

Thank you

Hi, The LDA range does not offer the infrared bypass facility to operate SKY receivers from a remote location using its remote control the LDL range does. We hope this helps. Thanks

Answer:
The LDA204L seems to be for standard freeview setups. it supplies 12volt 50ma power back up the UHF input to be used if you have an masthead preamp. It is short circuit protected. I have one of these and can confirm that only the UHF plug has 12volts on it.

The other unit (white ones) I think is actually a LDL204 which is for satellite systems and seems to provide 9V 15mA on all ports ( don't actually have one of these so going on data sheets.)

I did not want 9v on all ports and felt that the LDA204 might handle Freeview better as the other is designed for satellite signals.
