Rated 5 out of 5 by rubbery goo2 Great stuff. Repaired a badly holed flat roof and sealed it, Easy (but messy) to apply. Immersing the unopened can in hot water for a bit makes if easier. Also fill holes with bitumen and let it set first. 2 coats and no sign of leaks. Looks like a new (shiny) rubber roof. 8 Aug 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stuff for roofs Have used this before and it does a great job of sealing and therefore securing flat roofs. I def would use the Special Primer first - but it does the job really well... 28 Jul 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rubbery jubbly !! Ive used many roof sealants and although this is one of the more expensive, its by far the most cost effective option on the market. Quick & easy to apply and easy to spot any tiny bits you may of missed. Fast drying and no sleepless nights when it rains. In my opinion isoflex is the only option to consider. :) 7 Jul 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good flat roof repair. Good quality product, seems to work well, agree with other reviews that it is very messy. I bought cheap disposable brushes and would not fancy trying to clean anything. 2 Apr 2016

Answer:
Thanks for your question. Yes Isoflex Liquid Rubber can be used on lead roofing surfaces and gutters. We do however recommend the use of Isoflex Special Primer prior to application to lead.

Answer:
Thanks for your question, unfortunately on a rubber flat roof we could not guarantee the effectiveness of the Isoflex as it may not bond sufficiently. Even with the use of the primer we could still not recommend its use and we also have concerns about the effect the primer may have on the integrity of the substrate.

Primer

It is suggested that you use the Isoflex primer, prior to painting the rubber layer.

I cannot find anywhere that actually stocks this - is there an alternative?

Hi thanks for your question. Remove any loose material and dirt by thoroughly brushing the surface. Priming such a surface would be advisable, we produce a primer in our range, Isoflex Special Primer, one coat will be sufficient prior to application of the Liquid Rubber.

Hi I have a balcony outside my bedroom which is the flat roof element to part of my kitchen and dining room. It is leaking and I want to seal it, I have been told to use Flexacryl but have read in reviews that it remains sticky after a very long period of time and isn't suitable for roofs that pool water. Could I use this product instead?

Answer:
Hi thanks for your question, use on a balcony is not something we would normally advise. Whilst the Isoflex will dry to a non-sticky membrane foot traffic and the use of chairs tables etc could lead to puncturing or damage of the membrane.
