Rated 5 out of 5 by Good flat roof repair. Good quality product, seems to work well, agree with other reviews that it is very messy. I bought cheap disposable brushes and would not fancy trying to clean anything. 2 Apr 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Flat Roof Repair used this previously on another garage roof, never leaked again. Prep the roof properly get rid of any loose/flakey impediments. Mark the area in 1m squares use approx 1litre per sq metre don't over work. Brilliant results but use throw away brushes and gloves 8 Mar 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Isoflex Liquid Rubber Cheaper by £10 compared to other DIY shops. Used this stuff to repair tears and holes in shed felt and the shed tongue and groove boards. No need to use clout nails , brush it on and lay the next piece of felt. If you do use clout nails brush some of this on top. Works every time and lasts.WARNING VERY STICKY. (If you're like me and seem to attract paint etc. onto your clothes) Wear your oldest clothes and throw away after the job. Have rubber gloves handy. Can be very messy but worth every penny. 3 Mar 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product Once stirred this is a good product and easy to apply. Confident it will seal my shed roof. 30 Dec 2015

Primer

It is suggested that you use the Isoflex primer, prior to painting the rubber layer.

I cannot find anywhere that actually stocks this - is there an alternative?

Hi thanks for your question. Remove any loose material and dirt by thoroughly brushing the surface. Priming such a surface would be advisable, we produce a primer in our range, Isoflex Special Primer, one coat will be sufficient prior to application of the Liquid Rubber.

Hi I have a balcony outside my bedroom which is the flat roof element to part of my kitchen and dining room. It is leaking and I want to seal it, I have been told to use Flexacryl but have read in reviews that it remains sticky after a very long period of time and isn't suitable for roofs that pool water. Could I use this product instead?

Answer:
Hi thanks for your question, use on a balcony is not something we would normally advise. Whilst the Isoflex will dry to a non-sticky membrane foot traffic and the use of chairs tables etc could lead to puncturing or damage of the membrane.

Hi thanks for your question, Isoflex Liquid Rubber can be used on slate but we would always recommend the use of Isoflex Special Primer first to ensure good adhesion.
