Insta Stik Expanding Foam Grab Adhesive 750ml
DO NOT BUY
This is an appalling product. The original Pink Grip foam is excellent for fixing plasterboard, but this stuff is awful. It continues to expand for a long time, pushing the board out of line. I had to rip one board off the wall and start again - it was still expanding the next day, as the foam still hadn't cured after 12 hours. Not fit for purpose, should be removed from the market immediately.

Best in class
Make sure you shake the can well or you will end up with a goo that neither expands or sticks. Buy a spray cleaner as well. This doubles as an aerosol to spray the gun bits with goo on when you take the canister off and screws in to clean the innards. Had my gun for 5+ years now. This stuff is fantastic. Used for loads of things from plasterboard to 4 by 2's for starting an internal wall. Holds it rock solid before fixing with frame fixers. Great if you are working on your own. Highly recommended. A bit expensive at Screwfix though.

Excellent product, for years I have been using normal expanding foam, however never again.
You can fill gaps with this adhesive and you do not return to find a mountain of foam.
Still a bit pricey but worth the extra money.

great for sticking frames
Pleasantly surprised at How useful this is!!
I bought to stick and gap fill around door casings im fitting into odd sized crumbly brickwork door holes, and its absolutely perfect. Low expansion, but enough to quickly and easily fill 50mm gaps for instance,
and once cured its amazingly strong and supportive.
also found many other uses for it too,
sticking plasterboard to masonry,
plasterboard to plasterboard, to wood, and even to metal I-beams.
If you just use tiny beads and press items together it works as a glue without any expansion.. have a practice with some off-cuts before you use for real just in case.
Also sticks to PVU foam type batons/insulation
and doesn't 'melt' the PVU like some solvent adhesives do.
