Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Small Compressor Bought this compressor about 10 weeks ago for hobby/basic woodworking use. I use it moustly for my nail gun and for cleaning purposes and this it does grate! It is a bit loud like other guys mentioned, but due to the fact that it is a really cheap compressor I cant really complain about it. The conpressor itself is very well made, light and portable (which is just what I want as I have a limited work area). The only thing you need to keep in mind while buying this item is couplings that you need to buy for your tools. It is the first compressor I got for myself and buying those couplings was a bit confusing, but screewfix did a grate job in helping me to find them. Definitely I would recommend this tool, aspecially if you are new to this type of tools and you want to get yourself cheap and portable mashine to work with.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extension Needed This was purchased to replace my old Oil Free Compressor I had for about 15 years. Excellent Value for a like for like swap. This model has an on/off switch & a large easy to turn Pressure Regulator, if you are wearing gloves, unlike my other, which is better. The only downside is the Electric Cord which is far to short to reach any Plug Sockets higher up on a wall, so an Extention Lead is needed & this machine is so much louder than my previous one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall Pretty Good A good little mobile compressor ideal for small nailer jobs but a bit noisy in operation, being a small motor means it has a long cycle time to restore the pressure so the noise can be a bit irritating after a few hours use but an indispensable bit of kit.

Max 10 bar

I've just bought one of these compressors it says 10 bar mine fills to 9 bar on first fill it won't run anything on10 bar. It will only run at 8 bar so it is always running even on nailers even when valves opened fully set on high is this normal?

Answer:
Like a lot of this type of direct drive compressor they are quite noisy. Only you can judge I guess but I would say you would want it in another room for prolonged use.
