Really nice quality and not too heavy either for what they are. Best value from Screwfix too!

Most work boot are too narrow for me and take weeks to break in.
These boots were comfortable from day 1 and perfect for 12 hour + shifts. No more sore feet when I take my boots off.
Dewalt boots look pretty wrecked after 3 months of abuse they get from me. The Hyena's are looking really good with no real signs of wear.
Wish I found these years ago.

On first wear they seemed a little uncomfortable but as with all footwear they soon bedded in. They appear to be able to suit quite wide feet as it took a few uses to get the laces adjusted to suit my feet. Once you get that sorted they are snug and warm. If you have narrow feet like me you will be left with a lot of lace left over - either cut or double bow, otherwise you'll be tripping on the excess. Having had so called "waterproof" boots in the past it was a joy to have some boots that were indeed waterproof. They have good grip in the wet and i felt 'sure footed' on a metal ladder. Also, a nice touch is the set of spare laces in the box!
I only gave a reliability of 3 because after 5wks use, one of the lace cleats came away whilst tying. If this occurs it is difficult to tie the laces as there is no 'top hole' at the top of the boot. Luckily when i returned them to Screwfix, they had a pair in stock - so no real 'downtime'.
