Honeywell Pressure Reducing Valve with Gauge 22mm
Great emergency purchase
A cheap pressure valve on my shower (purchased elsewhere) blew out the night before Christmas Eve.Result- flooded bathroom :-( Screwfix was one of the few merchants in my area which was opening on Christmas Eve. I slept well that night because I was able to order this valve online knowing it would be there for me next morning when I rolled up about 7.15.
The reason I went for a Honeywell valve is obvious if you read the reviews for the cheaper similar product. The quality is immediately evident as soon as you take it out of the box. Although it is freshly installed I've given four stars for reliability because that is what one expects from Honeywell products. The comment about a missing O ring is noted but a couple of laps of Loctite 55 pipe sealing cord soon solved that.
In summary I'm well pleased.

As somebody mentioned for the 15mm version there is a seal missing.
The valve arrives in parts and needs to be assembled according to the supplied diagram. This in itself is not an issue and anyone could do this without the diagram. However, once you remove the blanking plug (sealed with an O-ring) to install the pressure gauge you realise there is no O-ring to make the seal between the gauge and valve body - this O-ring is on the diagram but does not exist within the packaging. It needs to be a different spec to that sealing the blanking plug.
I presume a proper seal can be made with PTFE but I think they should either supply an O-ring or change the diagram. They didn't seem very interested when i called their tech line. Definitely a manufacturer issue rather than a Screwfix error.
As usual can't yet comment on reliability.
