Robust scraper and the angled head improve slicing action. Used to remove tile adhesive.

I bought this to remove tile adhesive. The first one cracked as I undid the screws to turn the blade over. The replacement lasted a little longer. I snapped four blades on three square metres of tiles!! But at least the handle lasted. It's ok for wallpaper, but tile adhesive is a step too far.

First use for removing left behind tile adhesive showed the product in a good light. It performed perfectly, removing so much more, and with a lot less effort, than a standard wallpaper type scraper.
My dissatisfaction with the scraper only came to light when changing the blade. Unlike the picture above, the scraper supplied had three screws, not one. I drive a Saab so I'm all for over engineering. What became evident quite rapidly upon trying to secure the new blade was a case of either the tap in the body being rubbish or the screws being of very poor quality. I am not one to over tighten screws but these started to spin with very little turning force.
I searched through my various spare fixings and managed to find three odd set screws of the required thread dimension and chopped them down to size. I can confirm that the scraper is now what it should have been with a very secure blade. Not the threaded holes or the scraper body at fault but the use of the softest screws I have ever come across.
Same kind of quality as the junior hacksaw blades that come with the hacksaw in the pound shop - now you see the teeth, now you don't.
