Rated 4 out of 5Â by SMcCann Door Seals
The weather seals are well engineered and works well when installed correctly and precisely.
The instructions are good and explain the exact offset from the door required to achieve a good seal.
After my first installation I found that I had to push the door hard to close it. However, after readjusting to give a 4mm offset (which was in the instructions), I only needed a little bit more effort in closing than before.
If you want a very good seal, you need to be extremely careful in measurements or get a joiner to do the job.
My door is now draft and rain proof, and I am very happy with the result. I used a Stormguard threshold seal for the bottom. Regarding durability, I do not know - it's only been in a couple of weeks, but they look durable.

Used on a wooden door frame with varying gaps, sealed off all drafts easily. Did not take long to fit, the only tricky bit was cutting the corner piece correctly.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by beergardener Just fitted them in time!
I thought these were a little expensive at first but once I'd fitted them to all three of the outside doors it has made such a difference. I have tried before to take the 'cheapskate' route and fitted the foam type which are hopeless and pretty ineffective. These however, are good quality and effective especially in a very old house which you could feel the wind blowing through at times!
