Loo seems happy with it. My tenants are happy with it. My wife was happy paying for it. I was happy putting it in. Screwfix was happy selling it. A happy end.

Have used fluidmaster products before so think the extra cost is worthwhile.
Fitted it to an overseas property where the water is not hard (desalinated from sea). Have given it 4 stars for reliabilty only due to the fact that it will take some time to see if the desalinated water will have any effect on the valve.
If fluidmaster reduced the price these valves would fly off the shelves. As I`m sure many other would go to them as first choice if they were cheaper.

Not impressed, had one fitted for 18 months & it keeps failing. The blue float on the side sticks, it did it in its first few weeks, then settled down but now it does it constantly causing my water tank to overflow.
This is bad design in my opinion, the water comes out of the top and dribbles down the side of the whole unit, so after 18 months in a fairly hard water area, this thing is coated with scale, it's presumably this that makes the float stick.
At £18 it's the most expensive inlet valve I've ever bought and the fastest to fail. I won't be touching Fluidmaster again ..

I always use Fluidmaster, although more expensive than others, they are very reliable and robust, false economy buying cheaper brands.
