Answer:
The Fluidmaster inlet valve is supplied with a high performance multi-pressure diaphragm that automatically adjusts to all UK mains pressures - no need for separate seals.

Hello
There is water continually running into the pan of my WC. The part number on the valve (pictured) is Fluidmaster 0414C. Would a new replacement stop this and would you please advise which one I should buy to replace it with?

Thank you

Answer:
Hi IPH247,
There are a number of causes for water running into the pan, from both inlet and flush valves.
The recommendation would be to diagnose the fault, I would suggest watching the following video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZ1FfID-UFU

Once the fault is known, choose to replace parts of your existing valves or replace with the correct version.

It says "works well with high or low pressure systems" but what is the pressure range?

Answer:
Called fluidmaster yesterday and they say it needs at least 2 bar, so mine will not work off gravity feed. It will not shut off. They are going to tell screwfix that its no good for low pressure.

Answer:
This works independently to the flush valve. Within the cistern there is a valve to let the water in (Fill Valve) and a valve to release the water (Flush Valve). When the water level drops, i.e. when the cistern is flushed, the float on the fill valve drops and opens the fill valve, allowing the cistern to re-fill.

As such, the fill valve is not connected to the lever, and is only there to serve the purpose of refilling the cistern.

If you currently have a lever, this can be replaced with a modern dual flush valve (with button) to take the lever away.
If you want to keep the lever, you can buy a new Siphon flush valve and fit for optimised performance. The Siphon dual flush valve is what is connected directly to the lever.

Answer:
Yes this will work with a button flush valve, it may not fit as the button valve flush is normally in a very compact box, worth a try though.
This device is filling the system and has no bearing on the flush valve that is activated by the button.
The issue you need to be aware of is that the fill valve has room to act and not jam.
