Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Bought these because in the past they have been a really good bit of kit. Packaging says 'new'. Well very unimpressed - looks like Fischer have changed manufacturer. The new brackets are very poor quality - much thinner metal. Managed to break the two top sprung brackets and they didn't want to go back together. Probably should have taken back but I found some old top brackets in the shed and just ended up using the bottom brackets. A real shame.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fischer Mirror Fixing kit Good strong fixing. Easy to use. All parts included and cork cushioned for mirrors 3 to 5 mm. Hardly noticeable. Excellent fixing!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seem good Had a heavy mirror to hang. These are easy to fit if you get your measurements right. Mirror seems to be secure

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Some drawbacks I tried these clips instead of the usual 'Verity' clips, as they had excellent reviews but I was slightly disappointed. The sprung clips are slightly thicker than the fixed clips so that the mirror is 8 mm from the wall at the top and 6.5 mm at the bottom. A small difference, but slightly irritating. There is also a fair amount of 'give' in the sprung clips, allowing the mirror to be pulled away from the wall a further 4 mm if little fingers start playing - and this is easy because at 8 mm the gap is rather big. (This 'give' will vary depending on how extended the springs are in the finished position). Viewed from the side, the clips and their spring mechanism are too obvious for my (admittedly fussy) liking. These are not great criticisms, but I'm going back to Verity clips, which make a slightly neater job.

I have a mirror with quite a large frame around it? Will this product be of any use to me?

Asked by: Baseman9
Thanks for your enquiry, the mirror fixing kit goes directly on to the mirror itself up to a thickness of 5mm. Each of the bottom fixings will hold about 7kg, the top ones just hold it in to the wall so I don't think it will be suitable for a frame type mirror we would have to have more details of the application to specify a suitable fixing. Regards Technical.

hey my mirror is around 25kg will i need to buy 2 sets?

Asked by: Snazzy
Thanks for your enquiry, the weight of the mirror is held by the bottom anchors and each of these will hold 7kg, so you will require 4 fixings on the bottom. The fixings at the top are there to keep the top tight to the wall and don't actually take much weight. You will need 2 sets. Regards, Technical.

18 kg mirror in brick wall

I have bought one pack of these brackets. Will the 4 brackets together safely hold an 18kg mirror in brick wall? Its not very clear from the previous answers and the description on the packet. Please confirm.
Asked by: mandhan
Thanks for your enquiry, each bottom bracket will hold 7kg, so the total weight for one mirror set will be 14kg. The top brackets just hold the mirror into the wall. So for an 18kg mirror you will need at least 3 brackets along the bottom. Regards Technical.
