Rated 5 out of 5 by Great mirror holders Got an odd shaped bathroom mirror but plastic fixings that came with it weren't great looking or particularly strong. Replaced with these - good looking and a good firm fit, with the option to slide the mirror out if needed. Easy to install - used two of the existing drill holes and a tape measure to refigure the new holes required. Tidy. 1 Nov 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by They do the job Bought these to fit quite a large mirror. Quite happy with the result. Fitting was made easy because of the spring top clips. 18 Oct 2015

Weight

Afternoon, would 4x fixings going back through 12mm plasterboard into 2x 18mm ply support 20 Kg of weight?

If not, can you recommend anything that would do the job please?

Answer:
Thank you for your enquiry,
I would discard the plug and screw and just fix the brackets with a 5mm Ø x 45mm wood or chipboard screw in to the ply. Make sure the countersunk part of the screw sits just below the surface of the cork ring so that it does not scratch the mirror. 2 of the brackets at the bottom will easily support 20kg and the top ones will just hold it in at the top.

Answer:
Sorry for the confusion. The original question was answered to give a recommendation for another fixing as it was to be installed into plasterboard.
You are correct that the 'Packet' of fixings says it can support a 7kg mirror.
This is to be safe for all typical substrates.
I can confirm that one pack of these will support your 9.7kg mirror into a brick wall.

Answer:
It is difficult to be too specific as you do not say the thickness of the plasterboard or the weight of the mirror.
The fischer HM6, hollow wall anchor, will hold around 20kgs/fixing onto 12.5mm plasterboard.

Thank you for your question.
You didnt say what you are fixing into.
The fischer mirror fixings are attached to the wall using Ø6mm plugs.
These can hold up to 20kgs per fixing into solid brick wall.
