What is the difference between the MB1 and the fernox f1 protector?

Asked by: CPESron
Hello CPESron. The main difference is the dosing rate. F1 Protector is a higher concentration, so is dosed at 0.5%, whilst MB-1 is dosed at 4%. Both are compatible with each other, so there is no need to worry about mixing them. Hope this helps.

Can I dose via radiator?

Asked by: Gizmo62
It will be quite difficult to dose via a radiator as the dose rate is 4% of your system volume (so 4 litres for every 10 single panelled radiator). You may find it easier to use Fernox F1 express which can be injected in directly (dose rate of 1 can for every 10 single panelled radiator)

Fernox MB-1 Protector 4 ltr, how many radiator system is this product for?

Asked by: derbyram
The recommended ‘in-use’ concentration of the product is 4%. Fernox state that that one 4 litre bottle of the MB-1 protector will protect an average sized system (up to ten radiators).
