Erbauer ERB383WCH 125mm Wall Chaser 230-240V
Erbauer ERB383WCH 125mm Wall C
Im an electrical contractor who has traded for over 30 years, this is the best wall chaser for the money I have ever purchased, when used with a domestic vacuum the dust was minimal, and its effortless to use, whilst producing accurate depth controlled chases.

Makes the job easy
I bought my chaser about three years ago and have only just needed to replace the discs and this gets used a lot. Hooked up to a trend hoover there is very little dust. Adjusting depth is quick and simple and the cut width can be varied with the integral spacers but the full width of cut takes conduit perfectly.
If you do a lot of chases this is a great value and quality product, well worth it in my opinion.

Erbauer wall chaser
I am a sparky and have had two of these. It's use is limited to empty properties due to the volume of dust generated during use (even with a high quality vacuum system).
The disc locking flange has a tendency to stick making it impossible to remove. The instructions are confusing in that they say 'remove anti-clockwise' whilst the photo shows removal 'clockwise'. Still don't know which way is correct as the spindle locking pin inside the gearbox usually shears before you get the flange off. I STRONGLY recommend that you grease the disc flange before tightening and also after use slacken the flange before storage. Jot down in the manual which way to unlock the flange because you will forget!!
Now intend to get another higher quality chaser brand.

Blade change not easy
The spindle length is too long so the blades cannot be slid out over the top of it so blades cannot be removed, or the channel width changed, without first loosening the blade cover Allen keys.
If leaving on the 30mm setting then won't be an issue other than when putting in new blades.
