Erbauer ERB237MSW 210mm Single Bevel Sliding Mitre Saw 230V
I only received this today, so can only give a average opinion, looks of good quality, and seems ok to set up especially as I have never used one before.

Solid, accurate, minor flaws
A much more solid piece of kit than I was expecting. Very little slack or play in the sliding mechanism and pivots, so cuts are clean and accurate.
The detail lets it down a bit. First thing I had to do was find a tube of glue to stick the cap on the bevel slider knob which kept falling off. Also the mitre scale (0-45 degrees), which is nothing more than a printed label, was curling up at the ends and had to be re-attached.
The saw has a potentially useful "satellite workpiece stand". This detaches from the left of the baseplate and can be used for for holding up the far end of a length of wood. It's also fitted with a little roller - a nice touch except it is useless, being mounted slightly shy of the surface so it cannot touch the wood. This may be a manufacturing fault; the whole assembly looked poorly made with evidence of cross-threading in some of the screws underneath.
There's a long retractable stop arm, a good accessory spoilt by rather a lot of play. In practice it's not going to be a huge problem as you would "push away" the slack, but it does let down an otherwise solid machine.
Everyone is saying the dust bag is useless (they usually are). Mine was worse than useless first time I used it, throwing dust in all directions... until I discovered the zip was undone!
So yes, for the money it's a great machine where it matters most - the cut. But has a few foibles and may need some tweaking before it's ready to use.

I've never owned an Erbauer mitre saw before and was very impressed when I opened the box. It has a good solid feel about it, but is'nt too heavy. I will enjoy using it on all my up coming DIY projects

Cracking tool, little money.
I bought this with some decking, door frames, picture frames and skirting in mind over the coming year or so. I wanted a quick, better than hand sawn quality of cut. This saw acheives what I wanted. Upon opening the box I was relieved to see the quality over the rage model I returned the same day (I was unhappy with the build of the rage). This saw has some good features and so far I have used the depth stop, mitre and bevel functions. Although some reviews give poor feedback on the blade, I am pretty chuffed with the results with minimal chipping. This is the first power saw I have owned and expected less from this saw at the cost. I have taken some photos of some of the cuts I have done on some scrap I had laying around in the shed. Laser isn't great, this tool does create an awful lot of dust so I would recommend using in an outdoor space (I will connect mine to a shop vac for extended use). Mine needs some tweaking to get the accuracy I am after but I have no doubt this will achieve the DIY results I am after. I am sure models that cost 5 times the cost are better, but for me this exceeds my expectations and requirements. I think this saw cuts more than the quoted stock size. It ate through a 3 inch fence post like it was butter so respect is a must to keep all fingers where they should be. My only regret is that I waited this long to purchase one. I can't really quote on reliability, but it comes with a 2yr warranty so Erbauer either have faith, or are happy to lose money. You decide.
