Rated 5 out of 5 by BUY ONE as an occasional diy'r I wanted to buy a decent Sds drill, I did not want to spend alot as it's not a tool I would be using daily. I decided that after reading the reviews that this was the drill for me. Great price and enjoy using it when needed,, plenty of extras such as sds plus bits and a case can't fault it. Everything job I have used it on I have had no issues. 14 Jun 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Step up from a standard drill I like this SDS drill. It's like an overgrown hammer drill, weighs just under 3kg and packs a 2.5J punch with a useful 750w power rating. As a DIYer who will mainly use it to drill into the stupidly hard bricks my house is made of it's a breath of fresh air: my old 550w Bosch hammer drill really struggles to drill into these bricks, but this baby just chomps through them with no fuss. I doubt I'll get much use out of the chisel function, or basic drill function, maybe once in a while, and for chiseling you might want a 5kg SDS, but for effortless hammer drilling into masonry and hard bricks at domestic-type diameters it's great for the light to moderate user. Comes with a basic case, 8/10/12mm bits and chisel and bolster, so you can get started straight away. Trigger control is subtle, allowing you to start very slow, with adjustable top speed. Seems great value for money for the spec, can't comment on reliability yet. 3 Jun 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great SDS drill for price I've purchased a few of these drills now and so far had nothing but great experiences with them. For the price I don't think it can be beaten. Even comes with a great case and drill bit set. I'd probably suggest you don't use it for the toughest jobs. But I've run it all day pretty much non stop and so far had none break!! 25 May 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Quite Surprised I bought this drill as an emergency one while my Makita Sds was getting fixed. unfortunately my Makita couldn't be fixed so decided to keep this one until it broke then buy a new one. Im a Plumber / bathroom fitter by trade so this little sds is used everyday, chiselling, plugging and drilling 22mm holes through masonary. Tbh i thought it would last about a week, but Ive had it over 6 months now and its never let me down, does exactly the same job as my old Makita did..... Little tip, just grease the drill bits before you insert them into the drill as the chuck was a little stiff to start with but is now fine 24 May 2016

Answer:
The weight in the extra info/specification section is wrong. The user manual states 3kg, and I've weighed it and got 2.85kg, so I guess the Screwfix info should read 2905g/2.9kg. Hope that helps.
