Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent for DIY I decided to buy this one today instead of the slightly cheaper, tougher, 3.8Kg drill. That's mainly because I wanted something I could hold for a long time. Plus it has better features. Albeit, at the expense of being lighter duty. Having used a hired, light breaker, a few years ago, I'd say this one isn't as powerful as that. That said, with the flat chisel (comes in the box), I was able to remove decorative bricks, concrete base and mortar, in my garden today with relative ease. Just use your weight behind it and it will hammer away. Yesterday, I couldn't even get these bricks out with a cold chisel and sledgehammer. So this drill certainly works. Just takes longer to get it done. The only other demolition project I need it for is a brick coal-shed, which will take a long time with this. Had I more things to smash up I'd buy the stronger drill. Again, its lighter weight and more features mean I can do more with it, making it a better deal, in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Energer ENB569DRL SDS I purchased this drill to replace the 4.8kg version which was a fantastic drill. The jobs done so far have been easy for it, although I am not sure it will be able to do some of the really heavy stuff the 4.8 one could do. That said it is much lighter and so easier to use Very pleased so far

Which drill bits are compatible with this drill?

Asked by: Fstar
Hello Fstarhttp. This drill can only use drill bits which are SDS Plus or commonly known as just SDS, (there are also SDS Max drill bits which cannot be used with this drill). Hope that helps. Thank you for using Q&A. MH

does this drill have a roto stop function, would it be compatible with electricians tri cutter and box cutter

Asked by: Mrcabby
Hello Mrcabby, I can confirm that this product does have a roto-stop functions however it will only activate if you resist the initial forces caused by the jamming by securely holding the drill with both hands. As this is a very powerful drill these forces are significant. Thank you for using Q&A.

Headline description is a 2 KG SDS Drill. Spec claims 'Total Product Weight as 4905 (4.905?) kg. Can you please clarify?

Asked by: Hambo542
The weight in the extra info/specification section is wrong. The user manual states 3kg, and I've weighed it and got 2.85kg, so I guess the Screwfix info should read 2905g/2.9kg. Hope that helps.
