Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing performance. The noise is horrendous, far worse than a chainsaw and should not be used without ear defenders. Fence stain had to be diluted so much in order to get it spraying it takes several coats to get coverage - by which time you might well have sustained serious hearing damage. Best advice - buy a paint brush !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Energer ENERGER ENB558SRG 10 Superb product. Bought this item to spray creosote on a fence. Did 13 panels in an hour. So much easier than a brush. Tad noisy with a few vibrations but would highly recommend. Another best boys toy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Oh Dear, woops As an ex furniture sprayer working in a spray booth with a large compressor and devilbiss spray gun I should have known better. This may have 1 purpose of spraying fence panels when all your neighbours are on holiday or inside wearing ear defenders but for me and my purposes a big no. Im not saying its rubbish because it may well do a good job on a fence, whilst wearing ear defenders, but I wouldn't use it for anything else. Looks like a wagner for me or just scrap the idea and use a roller......

Viability - is this good for matt trade paint for internal walls?

is the sprayer durable - as we will be using it everyday for about two weeks. Also - is it easy to clean? so once used - if we left it for a few weeks - the paint wouldn't dry up internally in the product?
Asked by: DIYDee
Hello DIYDee, The cleaning instructions are as follows: 1. Clean the product immediately after each use. If the product clogs up, take steps as described below. 2. Release the trigger (15) and switch off the product. 3. Clean all the paint passages and the nozzle after each use with a slightly damp cloth and a little soap. Use the brush (not supplied) for hard to reach places. 4. Empty all paint from the cup (18) by pouring it into another container. Thoroughly clean the cup (18) with a suitable cleaning agent, which does not contain oil. 5. Fill cleaning agent into the cup (18), switch on the product and spray it through the spray head (20) until the cleaning agent exits as a clear, transparent mist. Thank you for using Q&A. (LM)
