Rated 5 out of 5 by Good saw Not a bad saw . Tell by the price But ok for a DIYer 8 Jun 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good table saw for the price Although the table saw comes pre assembled there are some final adjustments that are required before first use. Read the manual fully and these adjustments are simple and don't take more than a few minutes. With regard to the problems raised by other reviewers. 1)The guide fence moves even when fully tightened: This happened to me as well but was fixed by adding foam tape to the silver plates that grip the inside edges of the table, this increased the fiction and prevented the slipping. 2)The saw blade isn't aligned to the guide fence: This is also true and can be seen by setting the guide 1-2mm from the blade and visually comparing them against each other. I was able to fix this by adjusting the blade angle handles at the front and back independently of each other. 3)The rulers are misaligned: Once everything was set up correctly I found the rulers to be accurate to about 1mm. The only problem I found was when fully tightening one side of the guide fence without tightening the other side, this cause the loose side to be off by up to 10mm and difficult to move back to the correct position. If you partially tighten one side then the other is much easier to correct and tighten the second side. I've not had the table saw long enough to comment on the reliability which is why I've given it a low score. 19 May 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by great saw Great little saw for the price, found it didn't cut straight, the rules for lining up the fence were not in line, instead of ripping up the rules and risking it not sticking again, I removed the motor and added two shims to the rear motor mount, this then lined up the blade to the fence..... ( if that makes sence) I could have just moved the fence a few mm each time, but my dad will use it too so this makes it perfect. 6 Apr 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Poor Table Saw Of course if you are on a budget like me you will look for budget versions of a tool. In this case have to say, go and spend money on a product that is not only manufactured well but they also consider the users safety. 1. The guide moves and no matter how much you tighten it, it still moves. 2. The guard is flimsy and gave me a grave concern that it was too close to the blade. Both of those points are critical to the use of any table saw. I will not be recommending this product to anyone. 30 Mar 2016

Can anyone tell me if you can lower the blade so that it sits flush (or slightly below) the table surface?
