Energer ENB468ROU 1200W Router 230-240V
Energer 1200w Router
I have to say although my first impression was favourable (it seemed a robustly constructed tool) I had to return it to Screwfix as unwanted. The first time I fitted a cutter the spindle lock lever came apart. Now any damage may have been done to the machine earlier (the box had clearly been opened and resealed before I got it) and there was damage to a screw head that showed someone had attempted a repair but as this is a part of the machine that has to be robust and secure it had to go back.
I was disappointed in the confusing text and usefulness of the manual (no surprise there then) but a more disappointing feature of the machine itself was that there was no on/off lock; i.e. you had to keep your finger on the on-button all the time you were working. A good safety feature perhaps but not want I wanted. Nowhere on the web site or packaging was this made clear and it was important to me as I bought it to fit to a router bench.
Screwfix were brilliant about listening to my case. Helpful staff quickly and immediately took the machine back and were preparing to reimburse me when I decided I would then and there upgrade to another (more expensive) router!

Great Stand -by Router
I needed a router for a few features I wanted to put on my current [project but didn't think the leading names were good value for the number of times I would need one.
At the price I cant fault it and its also fairly light making it easier to use.
Overall a good buy

Good Value Router
so - I'm on my second one already as the first one unfortunately was obviously a return and shouldn't have been re-sold- so a bit of a wasted trip - but no complaints over service - a quick exchange.
New one - only tested so far - but seems great - easy to use (note - no cutters provided) and , for my use, powerful enough. Time will tell on reliability and over all quality - but for DIY use seems a great bit of kit

Router does what it's supposed to do. Only concern is in the fault i had with the lock/release lever, The screws that hold it onto the the router itself vibrated loose until they snapped the housing, As i only use it occasionally i'm happy to use a 12mm spanner to tighten or loosen the router bits. overall not bad for the money
