The sleeve is a very tight fit into the 10mm hole, so it needs to be hammered in. This means the bolt must be in place already, but the bolt is longer than the sleeve; so you add the nut loosely (or the bolt will disappear into the sleeve forever), and hammer that. This deforms the bolt thread so you can't then remove the nut to put the item to be fixed in place, or get the nut to spin back onto the bolt. Find a way around all that, and this is a very strong fixing.

Not much to say about these except they do what they are supposed to do. Cheap enough as well.

I bought 2 packs of these to fix a couple of antenna mounting brackets to outside wall of my house . they are a good solid fixing and there has been no movement of the brackets .The antennas are quite tall and get a lot of wind blast so top marks for these fixings

I used these to install a couple of floating shelves directly onto brick work.
I decided to use them as an alternative to the rawl plugs you get with the shelves as floating shelves don't tend to last 'Floating' for long.
Positives - Great value for money and easy to install.
Negatives - and this is through no ones fault but my own. the first one I installed I tightened too much and it snapped the thread clean off so don't over tighten when installing.
Anyway, a few months on and the floating shelves are still 'floating' even having been loaded with stuff this whole time. they literally haven't budged which is reflective of the quality of the anchors.
Would highly recommend.
