Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed It worked for few days than packed in, didn't realise it was fault and called boiler engineer only to discover faulty programmer. With boiler engineers call out charge ended up being expensive exercise. Screwfix refunded promptly. 24 Sep 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to install I purchased the LP112 to replace a faulty programmer which was discontinued. I have basic electric experience and found it quite easy to install using the diagram provided with the instructions. The user interface is also very easy to operate and set. I would definitely recommend it. 28 May 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by best price progammer this product was to replace my worn out programmer on my central heating system. It was less than half the price of the makers replacement unit and was fitted in half an hour. so far a very good product 28 Jan 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy Peasy Having already got a Drayton controller I went for the LP112. Glad I decided to stay with Drayton, two screws and about 5 mins of my time (don't forget to isolate the heating first) it was up and running again. Heating working again, wife happy, at last!. For the sheer simplicity (the backplate is brill) of up or downgrading your controller functions, stay with Drayton. Definitely recommend this and would use again. 28 Jan 2015

Answer:
The word timer is often used to describe any product with a clock. However there are some clear differences. A timer only has a single channel whereas a programmer has twin channels.

If you existing control deals with either heating or hot water but not both then an LP711 would be a suitable replacement.
If your existing control deals with with both heating and hot water then the LP112 can be used.

We currently have an old Sunvic MP2 Mechanical timer from around 1981. We would like to replace it with a digital one if possible?
We have a gravity fed hot water system & Baxi back burner central heating system.

Answer:
The LP112 is the most basic clock in the LP range. Both Central Heating and Hot Water times cannot be programmed separately. The LP241 is more suited to to replace the Sunvic MP2.
The LP241 will fit directly onto the back plate with no need for any wiring alterations. The selector pin on the rear of the LP241 must be set to G for Gravity

Answer:
Yes this is a direct replacement and will simply fit onto the existing back plate. For an upgrade the LP241, LP522 and LP722 will also replace the ACL product using the existing product.
