Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product My favourite brand of programmable room thermostat and the Drayton wireless version is the most reliable RT I have used. The style has evolved over the past few years and it is now easier to set up and has the features you need. Not as complicated as the next gen stats which is a positive. As with most wireless stats they are expensive but Screwfix is the most competitive place I've found to buy them from by a good margin and I can order them on my phone to pick up in minutes. Excellent! 25 Dec 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice and simple Bought to replace faulty older model Drayton. Swopped out in 30 minutes and the extra functions are great value for the price from Plumbfix. Reliability is to early to tell. 22 Dec 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by High quality unit Replaced a useless Siemens wireless unit that never worked properly Only took 45 minutes to install and set up and heating was up and running again multi function timer and even got an override function. Yabba dabba doo.... 17 Dec 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Simple to fit Spent time unsuccessfully trying to get a couple of Hortsmann HRFS1 to work in place of my old mechanical thermostat. This one was simple to install & the setup worked fine. Replaced directly to the same wiring as the mechanical thermostat. Can't comment on performance or reliability yet so just gave it average. 26 Nov 2015

Answer:
Providing your current does NOT have ACL stamped on the front of it you will be ok to use the +3RF. If the existing SCR is stamped ACL then a new SCR will have to be used.

Answer:
The D+3RF is suitable for this boiler. The receiver will require a 240V mains supply and neutral. The switching terminals 1 and 3 will be connected to the boiler terminals 25 and 26
SCR terminal 1 will connect to boiler terminal 26, SCR terminal 3 will connect to boiler terminal 25.

Remember all electrical work should be carried out by a qualified professional.

Answer:
The RF range start with the DigistatRF, the Digistat+2RF and the Digistat+3RF. All of these will work with your boiler.
The RF is a simple dial type, non programmable thermostat with a digital display, the Digistat+2RF is a 24 hour programmable thermostat and the Digistat+3RF is a 5/2 day split or 7 day individual programmable thermostat.

All of these RF thermostats use a receiver to receive the sent RF signal. The receiver is responsible for firing the boiler and will need a permanent 230v main supply as well as the switching wires to the boiler.

I have a Worcester Junior 28i combi controlled by a Horstmann HRT3 mechanical room thermostat. It has 3 wires + earth(not connected) they are 240 volt L,N & a wire to control the boiler. I would like to replace it with a wireless programmable thermostat. Can the Digisat 3RF fit using the existing wiring?

Answer:
The Digistat +3RF can be used to replace this model.
Your existing wiring can also be used.
HRT3 Live terminal 1 will be connected to the Live L on the SCR.
HRT Neutral terminal 4 will be connected to N terminal on the SCR
HRT wire to boiler terminal 3 will be connected to 3 terminal on SCR
Terminals L and 1 will be linked together on the SCR
