Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can't fault it! I bought this a few days ago to replace an old digital timer that gave up the ghost. The old timer allowed me to set on/off times but i had no real control over the temperature, meaning i'd regularly have to turn the boiler off/back on to keep things to comfortable temperatures. It took around an hour for me to fit, with the majority of the time taken trying to identify the wires connected to the old timer (No wiring diagram) to know where to connect to the receiver box, which is labelled and there are clear instructions provided. Once properly wired it was very easy to mount (rawlplugs and screws provided) the receiver box and also sync the receiver to the room thermostat. The Roomstat itself is a little confusing at first (only 4 buttons) but follow the instructions and play around with it for around 5 minutes and you'll know how to access all functions. It will work straight away in 'auto mode' but i opted to set my own timings and temperatures to suit my needs. the 5/2 day programmer option is perfect for my needs, working in the week and usually off on weekends. I'm really pleased with my purchase and think it will reduce my gas bills because the boiler hasn't been running for as long everyday since fitting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product but be aware ... My experience is that this thermostat is straightforward to install, set up, and use but remember that the receiver needs a permanent power supply. Programming is laborious rather than difficult. It controls temperature well and avoids the need that I had previously experienced to frequently override the programmer and thermostat settings, though it remains to be seen if this extra comfort and convenience will result in higher gas consumption. I give this the benefit of the doubt on reliability – it has been installed for only about 6 weeks. Potential buyers should, however, be aware that it can EITHER be used with the 3 pre-set (not user definable) programmes OR it can be used with a single user defined programme. It is NOT possible to set 3 user defined programmes and change between them as I had intended. Any user defined programme is lost when another of the programmes is selected. At first, I thought that this was a fault but when I rang Drayton customer services I was told that this is normal for this product. My subsequent letter requesting confirmation of what I had been told has not been answered after 4 weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wireless Thermostat This was easy to install and the instructions were clear and concise. Worked first time and is a very good option if you are looking to change from an old style analogue room stat to something that gives more control and flexibility. Has a 7 day option which i needed but doesn't allow you to copy the program between days to save time.

I have a Drayton +3RF wireless thermostat. Will I need to re-program the temperature profiles after changing the transmitter batteries? The instructions show how to change the batteries but do not address this point.

Changing the batteries will not erase the set schedule. The batteries could be removed for a length of time but this will not effect the settings

Hi,

I want to remove the dial type thermostat in my lunge and fit this.
Will this work? I think I have to just leave the switch by the boiler to 'on constant' and then fit this electronic thermostat.

The Digistat+3RF will operate with your baxi boiler. You are correct in your thinking of leaving the boiler to ON Constant and having the room thermostat control the heating
