Rated 5 out of 5 by Great drill After my first one being faulty with first use I popped straight back and got an exchange no problem at all. I used this drill on a call out job and it was great, feels good and pretty powerful considering the weight. Really pleased with the drill and would recommend to trade and non trade. 10 Jun 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Brilliant drill I got this because the others were a bit too heavy and my neighbours one was great so I bought one too 3 Jun 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not one of DeWalts best! This is a reasonable drill at a reasonable price but I probably naively expected a great drill as it is a DeWalt. The drill is slightly jumpy in use when both drilling and driving and it has a really annoying travel when you apply the pressure meaning you are never really sure how much pressure you are putting on. I have owned a Bosch drill for several years before this and I suspect my next one will be a Bosch as well. 2 Jun 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic bit of kit I have used this drill several times a day for the last 4 months on my house renovation. It's so versatile that I have bought another one for the times when I am lucky enough to have convinced someone to help me! The batteries charge up very quickly, and seem to last for a decent amount of time. The fact that it has two batteries gets around any waiting for the charger issues. If I had to find a con, I'd say that the light is not in the best place but it still works sufficiently. 31 May 2016

Answer:
Hi There
These batteries will power any DEWALT 18v XR tool.
As they are only 1.3Ah batteries things like Circ Saws and Jigsaw won't have a great runtime as these would ideally require biger Ah batteries like 4Ah or 5Ah.

Answer:
Hi There
No this is not a Brushless Motor.
If you want a Brushless Drill then i would recommend the following top selling Brushless Combi...
94484 - DEWALT 18v 2 Speed Brushless Combi with 2 x 2.0Ah Li-Ion Batteries.
More Power, Brushless Motor for longer tool life and more efficiency (longer runtime), plus comes with 2.0Ah batteries instead of 1.3Ah batteries.
