DeWalt D28113-GB 4½" Angle Grinder 230V
Another great Dewalt product
I have had a number of branded and non branded power tools over the years, some better than others, some i would not buy again. I am glade to say I am now starting to buy Dewalt as my tool of choice...
in this case I have had 4 angle grinders over the years the last one was a Bosch, dont get me wrong it lasted well, but gave up late sunday afternoon.. so a quick dash to screw fix.. whats available at a mid range price... DeWalt D28113-GB 4½" Angle Grinder 230V
Product Code: 87881....
now having used it for a few days what can I say..
1)build quality is good, seems well made and robust
2) a very long power cable, and nice and flexible rubber
3) the locking nut and spanner are a good fit and well made, with a knurled outer diameter so you can put it by hand then just tighten the last bit by the spanner, nice touch
4) the 900w motor is nice and power full lots of grunt, no slowing down when under heavy load.
5) one thing i did like is the main body is just a fraction smaller diameter, so easier to hold in the hand, for long periods (no i dont have small hands), its possible to use one handed with care, ie with sanding discs etc
over all so far, I am impressed with the grinder.
would i buy it again yes
would i criticize anything yes, it comes in a cardboard box, some of my previous ones came in plastic or metal storage boxes. its not the end of the world but it would have been in keeping with other DeWalt products I have had if the storage box was better.

Excellent Angle Grinder for the price! Works very well, with power when needed. Easy to use with stability where required in awkward areas... Highly recommend

I have been using this for grinding with lots of dust. I have been impressed with the power 900W and the practicality of use. Is light, great lock on switch that can be used with a single hand. Tool is very ergonomically and also can be use with one hand to reach awkward places.

Solid bit of kit
It feels solid to use. It did not falter once when cutting brick with a masonry cutter. I had watched someone else use a cutter many times and this looked just as easy. It was solid but it was not tiring or heavy. The motor just stepped up to the job and was not overheating, or giving off worrying burnt oil fumes. It was well priced and I still feel that it will work out cheaper than hiring.
