Rated 5 out of 5 by satellite connection fascia It is exactly what is required to connect from a wall outlet from a satellite dish or other service provider to either a television or modem It has a secure screwed terminal outlet and comes complete with screws to fit to either a sunken or patress style back box with only a shallow space needed (a switch box/patress is deep enough) 19 Jun 2015

Answer:
Hi, thank you for your product enquiry.
This is not an Isolated socket so will not block the returning signal from a Sky Eye system.

Re the answer to my previous question "Is soldering required with this socket? "

If you look at the rear of the socket in the picture or on an actual socket there is no 'screw terminal' just a solder blob. Is this item faulty?

Hi, thank you for your product enquiry.
The picture of the rear shows the circuit board with the cable clamp (and Earthing point for the cable shielding layer) at the bottom retained by the two corner screws, then the clamping screw terminal centrally located just above it and below the 5 solder blobs in the centre of the board.

Answer:
Hi, thank you for your product enquiry.
The connections on the rear of this socket plate are a standard screw-terminal and a standard co-axial cable clamp, exactly the same as a regular co-axial TV socket, so no soldering.
